Everyday Wash gets older, bigger, more active and tests all the rules and boundaries I have set for him, so I have to keep this short. Right now he's dragging his blankets around the apartment letting me know "I'm bored, lets go out."
Wash behaved very well over the Holidays. He visited several houses, and was a perfect gentleman. He spent Christmas at my grandmother's house surrounded by 5 cats! Wash is familiar with 2 of them, Kaylee and Misty (my parents' cats), but it was his first time meeting Raja, Azura and Zephyra. Surrounded by a slew of Siamese cats, I was impressed by how calm Washburn managed to stay. There was no chasing, no barking, just polite sniffing, then he would leave them alone.
(Look at those legs! Definitely from the Poodle half of his gene pool)
On New Years' Eve was quiet. He had just gone to the vet earlier that day and was feeling a little under the weather.
Happy New Year. Wash and I hope your Holidays were spectacular, full of family and friends.
